Howie Walkowitz
Owner
Born in Patterson , NJ , Howard Walkowitz worked at his father’s auto parts warehouse for twenty years. Upon retirement, he moved to Coral Springs with his two daughters. He raised his daughters for the next thirty years and they moved-on to be college scholars. Now out of retirement , he is currently owning the South Florida Gold. We are happy to have a leader like him to bring us to the championship.

Willie Ponds
General Manager
Willie Ponds General Manager Mr. Ponds basketball experience runs deep, as a player he played professional basketball in the NBA, and the FIBA. His career has spanned 40 yrs. With the experience of playing basketball has helped Mr. Ponds gain great insight of basketball operations. With this experience he joined the coaching ranks with the EBA, Hampton Roads Cardinals. ABA Seven City Knights, Florida Makos, Savannah Gwizzles as Head Coach. Furthermore, Mr.Ponds was vote All-star Coach of the ABA, while moving into the National Champions Jacksonville Giants staff as assistant coach & scout coach. His management skills has enabled Mr. Ponds to become a Owner of the Southcoast Fire, which has become a team to support the cause of community grow in the faith base initiative. Mr. Ponds is also the Director of Christians Schools for Dailey International, 20 yr veteran of the U.S. Army and ordained pastor.
David Graham
Head Coach
David Graham Head Coach of the South Florida Gold. Coach Graham is no stranger in being the ABA having been in the league for 6 seasons now, coming from the Jacksonville Giants as the Associate Head and winning 2 world titles is very experienced in the culture of the ABA and the opportunities that the ABA has provided for young men and women of all backgrounds. Also Coach a season as The Head Coach of the Atlanta Wildcats and went 23-3 in his only season with the Wildcats. Coach Graham has experience in coaching from all levels from AAU, middle school, high school, college and professional. Coach Graham played basketball all the way through college . Being a graduate of Spencer High School from Columbus, Georgia and Edward Waters College of Jacksonville ,Florida. Coach Graham Graduated from Edward Waters in 2004 with his Bachelors Degree and hasn't stop coaching since. Coach Graham Goals for the season are to have the South Florida Gold win The ABA title, Give back to the community in all ways, and help men get opportunities to go overseas or in the NBA. Scott Draughn
Associate Head Coach
Scott Draughn Associate Head Coach Is now in his first season of coaching after playing professionaly for the South Florida Gold-ABA for 3 seasons. His experience of playing in college at Winthrop University of Rock Hill, SC (Division I) and at the professional level has given him a wealth of knowledge to continue with basketball beyond playing. As a graduate from Winthrop, Scott was a part of two Big South Championship teams under the leadership of now Head Coach Greg Marshall at Wichita State.  He then graduated from with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management in 2008. Continuing his education, Scott then went to Wingate University in Wingate, NC where he graduated in 2010 with a Master’s degree in Education. Scott currently works for Delray Beach Parks and Recreation creating programs for youth and people in the community. Scott is a native of Hamden, CT.
Wanold Pauleon

Wanold Pauleon Vice President of Operations Mr. Pauleon has a lot of experience with Basketball. He first started playing Basketball at the age of 8 years old hoped on playing for the NBA. Having played middle school and high school ball his dreams were short lived as he had a major surgery in his ankle. Mr. Pauleon was born and raised in Miami Florida where he experienced a lot of life lessons at a young age. But that didn't stop him from being what he wanted to be was a game changer for his current generation he calls himself the proclaimed "king amongst kings". He is the CEO of his own nonprofit charity foundation called the "Pauleon Dynasty Foundation", and has a broker license for real estate as well as a insurance license. He is currently enrolled at FAU and is majoring in Finance Investment Banking.
