Lew Kovit
Owner Assistant
I got a call from a friend in 2013 after he received a solicitation from a coach of a brand new professional basketball team called the South Florida Gold saying they were looking for someone to head their entertainment and events responsibilities. A meeting with the owners over lunch, and now three years and two successful team seasons later, I now welcome the challenge of my new position as the team's owner's special assistant.  I assist our owner, Lori Watson, with her day-to-day operations duties and responsibilities as his eyes and ears. I have made lots of great relationships with all of the team staff members and players. I also get to promote our team solidifying relationships with the local schools, businesses, and governments from the cities and communities we represent as part of the American Basketball Association.
